Fort Film—Glasgow & Dundee

Commercial, documentary and cultural filmmaking across Glasgow, Dundee and the UK.

What We Do

Commercial & Documentary

We produce commercial, branded and documentary film for businesses, agencies and cultural organisations across Scotland. From single-day shoots to complete end-to-end production, we combine strong visual craft with clear production thinking, delivering work that is both cinematic and strategically effective.

Services include corporate and branded content, documentary filmmaking and campaign films.

Virtual Production

We integrate virtual production workflows, including LED volume and real-time environments, to expand what can be achieved on set. From controlled cinematic backdrops to innovative documentary applications, these tools allow ambitious visual storytelling with production precision.

Virtual production can be incorporated into commercial campaigns, cultural projects and research-led work.

Immersive & Heritage Projects

Alongside our production work, we develop immersive and place-based storytelling projects rooted in heritage, landscape and material culture. These projects explore how film and emerging technologies can deepen engagement with site-specific narratives and cultural history.

Immersive and heritage-focused work is developed through our sister company, Fort Dee.

How We Work

The way we work is fairly simple. We shoot on cinema lenses, light deliberately, and edit with restraint. Briefs that look like commercials get treated like commercials; briefs that look like documentaries get treated like documentaries. We try not to confuse the two.

Because Fort Film is small, the person you meet at the brief stage is the person who makes the film.

Clients & Partners

We collaborate with creative, cultural and research partners who share our appetite for experimentation and craft.
